Turner's Tooth (Focal Enamel Hypoplasia)

شرح مختصر بيماري
A defect with loss of structure in a single tooth versus systemic hypoplasia.
It is usually caused by trauma to or infection of the deciduous tooth yielding damage to the formative cells of the succedaneous tooth, in this case the permanent incisor.
Composites or a veneer are treatments.
Enamel hypoplasia of a single tooth, most commonly one of the permanent maxillary incisors or a maxillary or mandibular premolar, resulting from local infection or trauma.
