WORD OF WELCOME In the name of God Dear Colleagues: It is with the greatest pleasure that I welcome you to the 8th Annual Session of the Iranian Association of Orthodontists. The theme of this year's event is Team Work: Establishing a Multi-Disciplinary Approach to field of orthodontics. This session's goal is to explore the many different disciplines that come together to provide effective, individual care for each orthodontic patient's unique needs and to collaborate on the future of the field. The annual session will be held on 19-21 may 2010 in the beautiful, historical city of Tehran at the Iranology Foundation was recently beautifully built with the majestic art, grandeur, and traditions of Iran's past. It has hosted multiple conventions in the past, and we are honored to host this year's session in this wonderful location. The vision and wisdom of 8th Annual Session of the Iranian Association of Orthodontists would not have been possible without the dedication and diligence of the talented individuals who came together as a team to develop a memorable program which offers excellence in Orthodontics and practice management. به نام خدا همکاران گرامی موجب کمال خوشوقتی من است که مقدم شما را به کنگره هشتم انجمن ارتدنتیست های ایران گرامی بدارم. زمینه اصلی برنامه امسال "کارگروهی" است:  ایجاد یک روند همکاری بین بخشی در حوزه ارتدنسی.  هدف این نشست بررسی و تجمیع روش های متنوع مدیریت درمان، درجهت رسیدن به یک شیوه ی مؤثر در پاسخ به نیازهای اختصاصی بیماران ارتدنسی و همچنین تشریک مساعی برای آینده ی حرفه است. نشست سالانه ما در روزهای 29تا 31 اردیبهشت 1388 در شهر زیبا و تاریخی تهران، در محل بنیاد ایران شناسی که یک بنای باشکوه، شاهانه و به سبک هنر باستانی ایرانی است برگزار خواهد شد.  این بنا تاکنون میزبان چند همایش بوده و موجب افتخار ماست که در این محل میزبان شما هستیم. اهداف و آمال کنگره 8 انجمن ارتدنتیست های ایران محقق نمی شد مگر با فداکاری و پشتکار افرادی که به عنوان یک گروه گرد هم آمدند تا برنامه ای به یادماندنی را ارائه کنند که معرف بهترین های مدیریت درمان ارتدنسی باشد. تشکر فراوان نثار دکتر الهه وحیددستجردی، دکتر مهتاب نوری، دکتر امیرفرهنگ میراسماعیلی، دکتررحمان شوکت بخش و دکتر حسین ارباب زاده که تلاش بسیار سختی را در جهت برنامه ریزی همایش امسال به خرج دادند. بابهترین آرزوها، محسن شیرازی دندان پزشک، متخصص ارتدنسی رییس انجمن ارتدنتیست های ایران
